The ground breaking ceremony for the $18,000 (USD) Water Treatment Project in Phu Yen Province, Vietnam was held on Monday, September 18, 2017. The project will provide clean safe drinking water to more than 700 people living in the Province including many school children.
The Water Treatment Plant financed by Minnesota Veterans for Progress was constructed by local labor and became operational on October 12, 2017. These pictures show the plant in operation and the ribbon cutting ceremony that celebrated the opening. Thank you to all the donors who made this project possible.
